First Impressions: Oh,Weatherly

Hey everyone what's up?!
I'm back to talk about my first impression of a band called Oh, Weatherly.  I saw these guys in New Orleans when they opened up for Mayday Parade on the this is sunnyland tour and I was actually really impressed with their performance. Of course as soon as these guys came out all the girls went crazy because they were attractive, but from the first note I could tell they were more than just looks.

Even though I didn't know any of the songs or lyrics, I found myself jamming along and wishing I did. I will say that even though the band didn't have a whole lot of room on stage, the lead singer, Blake Roses, Defiantly had a ton of stage presence. One of the things that made me give this band a listen at home, was Blake's memorial stage presence and performance. The other thing was the songs that they performed. All of the songs were so upbeat and classic pop-punk which hellooooo is my forte! Their song 'Dark of The Night,' is still stuck in my head as I write this. I can't wait to listen to the rest of their music and see what's next for them.

Here's the part everyone's been waiting for First impression of a few of their most listened to songs

This song is simple yet catchy af. Literally knew the chorus by the end of the song was over. Watch out 'Dark of the Night,' think this one is taking your place! Love the beat and drums in this one. It's just a fun summer song that I just want to blast while i'm driving down the Highway! 5 out of 5

New Beginnings

It feels like forever since I've made an actual decent post on here. Well that's because it has been forever in reality, but i've been so inspired lately to start up my blog again. However, I want to write about a few more things that i've never written about before.

So here's a little about what inspired me so much.

I went to see a band called Mayday Parade a few days ago. By the way, if ya'll don't know who that is please go check them out! They are absolutely amazing and have been a favorite band of mine since I was in middle school. Their music keeps me afloat sometimes.Anyways back to the story,  I  saw a bunch of music photographers taking pictures and it just reminded me of how much i've always wanted to do that . I've always wanted to just write about music, interview the bands I loved and travel the world.  Even now thinking about it I want to do everything possible to let my voice be heard about what I love.  So having said that, I want to bring this blog to that reality and have an audience who loves the same things as me. I want this to be a casual blob of my thoughts and judgement free zone for everyone to comment and express what they think.

With that being said, this blog is heading in a different direction than most of my older followers are used to. I hope ya'll buckle up and take this ride with me! I have so many new things in the work and i'm so excited to find my voice again and embark on this new journey. Don't get me wrong I will totally still review some books when I see fit, but mainly I want this blog to be whatever I want to post when I want to.  I don't want it to be categorized as anything besides me being me :)  Your support means the world to me!

xoxo
